Alumina (Al₂O₃) Ceramics – Zirconia (ZrO₂) Options

For nearly four decades, Tectra GmbH, founded in 1985, was a trusted and, for many customers, the primary supplier of technical ceramics. It is therefore with great regret that we note the company ceased operations at the end of 2025, marking the end of an impressive 40-year history.

Following a significant increase in inquiries after Tectra’s closure, and in order to ensure continuity of supply, we have taken over the former standard Tectra ceramics portfolio on a one-to-one basis. In some cases, original components are still available directly from the manufacturer.

In addition to the standard range, we are pleased to support customer-specific requirements. Tooling and molds from previous projects are expected to remain available, allowing for the reproduction or adaptation of previously manufactured ceramic components.

Zirconia options available
In addition to standard alumina ceramics, we can also supply selected components (e.g. screws) in zirconia (ZrO₂) – offering higher strength and improved fracture resistance for demanding applications.
