ConFlat® (CF) Flanges & Components

ConFlat® (CF) flanges are standardized according to ISO 3669:2017. These flanges are specifically designed for ultra-high vacuum (UHV) applications. They are typically made of stainless steel and the sealing material is often OFHC-Copper.

CF flanges feature knife edges that are pressed into the sealing material when the connection is tightened, creating a seal. CF connections offer the advantage of extremely low leak rate of 1·10−11 mbar·l/s.
