We recommend miniature linear-rotary feedthroughs as compact motion feedthroughs for short and intermediate linear travel ranges up to 500mm travel. Typical applications include movable sample parking lots, load lock transfer arms and retractable heating stages. An adjustable stop ring can be set at a specific linear position and a thumb screw is provided to lock the outer magnet. Due to its high torque of 0.5Nm and linear force of 30N, considerable force can be transferred to any gear inside vacuum if necessary.
